Career Pathways
The graduating MA and MAEP classes of 2021 enjoyed tremendous employment success. Among the candidates that reported their initial placements after graduation, 75% were employed in Canadian government branches, while the remaining 25% were pursuing doctoral studies at esteemed institutions: Queens University, the Paris School of Economics, and McMaster University.

Syed Alifer Zaidi '2024
Alifer graduated form our MAEP program in 2024. He has been hired on at the Ontario Medical Association as an Economist.
Keith Roberts '2020
Keith graduated from our MAEP program in 2020. He worked as a Business Analyst at Manulife Financial right out of graduation, before shortly moving onto being a corporate Strategy Analyst at Open Options Corporation. In 2023, he joined our department again to begin his PhD in Economics.
