Update to Intermediate Macroeconomics Program Requirements

A recent update to our undergraduate program requirements effective 2025.

Previously, students were required to complete ECON 2H03 and ECON 2HH3 to fulfill the Intermediate Macroeconomics requirement. Beginning in Fall 2025, these courses will be replaced by ECON 2Y03 and ECON 2YY3.

To accommodate this transition, students will have three options to satisfy the Intermediate Macroeconomics requirement:

1. ECON 2H03 and ECON 2HH3
2. ECON 2H03 and ECON 2Y03 (Note: ECON 2Y03 is equivalent to ECON 2HH3)
3. ECON 2Y03 and ECON 2YY3

If you are planning to complete this requirement using ECON 2HH3, please note that ECON 2HH3 will be offered for the final time in Summer 2025.
